Meet Our Expert & Founder

Hi, my name is Kaylee Campbell Burton, and I’m the Founder of KCB Creative. I’ve been in the marketing world for nearly two decades now, and in that time, I’ve watched brands chase trends and settle for mediocre work over visionary work more times than I can count. All I can say is, bless their hearts,  because I know, from firsthand experience, that trends and fast work, don’t work and don’t last.

That’s why I created KCB Creative. I wanted to create, not just another marketing agency, but a creative studio where strategy and storytelling intertwine to create meaningful, artistic marketing that builds brands into trusted institutions and firmly establishes them in the cultural conversation.

I’ve basically lived my adult life in marketing and publishing, bouncing between in‑house teams, agencies, and my own studio. This means I’ve seen how things work (and break) from the inside, not just from the outside looking in.

Copy: Nothing we do is basic. We are a story-first agency, creating consistent storylines over time using creative techniques in a variety of mediums to bring your brand story to life.

  • Design: Use a full-width image background – The design, made in Adobe, will feature the white brick wall background, with the logo painted on the wall, paint dripping from the logo to make the hash marks for the timeline. Use neon brand colors for paint drips and timeline text. Leave space at the top left of the wall image for the section’s H2 Text Overlay.

  • 2009 – Kaylee wins international writing competition and becomes Honorary Editor of High Times Magazine. 
  • 2010 – 2015 – Kaylee branches out into PR, event management, and magazine publishing.
  • 2014 – As Associate Editor and publication manager for LIFE Senior Services’ Vintage Guide to Housing & Services, Kaylee’s issue takes Gold in the National Mature Media Awards.
  • 2016 to 2020 – Kaylee continues to develop her craft and adds expertise to her resume in inbound marketing, email automation, social media management, content management,  marketing, and event marketing.
